| Respite Services: |

| Rockdale Community Services
manages two Repsite Services that provide support to the primary carers
of frail aged people, people with mental health issues and people with a
disability. |

| Emergency
Respite is for short term emergency needs and the Planned
Respite service is able to cover the longer term needs of primary
carers. |
| Both services
are provided by Respite staff who are supported and trained in the provision
of the required care and we attempt to provide services that are sensitive
to the needs of the diverse community of the St George Region. |

| Cost: |
| The Emergency
Respite Service is funded through the Commonwealth Governments
National Respite for Carers Program. Fees are as follows: |
| $8.00 per hour and 46
cents per kilometre |
| |
| Planned Respite
is not assisted by the Government and therefore is more expensive. Fees
are as follows: |
| $30.00 per hour on a
weekday |
| $40.00 per hour on Saturdays |
| $46.00 per hour on Sundays
and Public Holidays |
| 60 cents per kilometre |
| Fees are subjected to increases. |
